Web Processing with Splicing Tapes

Tape can be used to splice materials.

One very common use of tape is to splice films, foils, and papers together when they are processed. The generic term for this is web processing.

When splicing, your material and process will determine which tape is best suited for your application.

When selecting a splicing tape, you'll want to consider several things including the material being spliced, process temperatures, splicing method, detectability, and (of course) cost. Choosing the right splicing tape will ensure failure free roll-to-roll processing.

If you are unsure which tape will perform best for your application, give us a call to identify the tape that works.

PRO TIP:

Using a splicing table will make better, more consistent splices for your materials.
